TakeMeFishing.org Adds Live News Feed, Expands Coverage of Boating and Fishing
Live Feed Provides Up-To-Date Information on All Things Outdoors

ALEXANDRIA, VA (January 25, 2011) – The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation’s (RBFF) Take Me Fishing™ campaign is making it easier for boaters and anglers to keep up with the latest outdoor stories by adding an on-site news feed to its website, www.TakeMeFishing.org. Pulling from popular websites including FieldandStream.com, OutdoorLife.com and Boat Trader’s WaterBlogged, the feed is designed to provide visitors with the most recent outdoor stories and function as another useful tool for boaters and anglers looking to read up on the outdoors and plan a day on the water.

“As an organization, we pride ourselves in being the go-to resource for all things boating and fishing related,” said RBFF President and CEO Frank Peterson. “That’s why we’ve chosen to add a live news feed to our website. Pulling from a wide range of sources, the feed will automatically update throughout the day to offer visitors timely news stories on the outdoors. From fish tales and gear reviews to tips and tricks, our news feed is another great reason to visit TakeMeFishing.org.”

Just one of many resources available on TakeMeFishing.org, the live news feed is designed to provide updated information and news on boating, fishing and the general outdoors. The feed is located on the site’s homepage under the ‘Explore’ section and showcases the day’s top three stories. Users looking for additional news may also click through to the site’s news main page. There, users can narrow their search based on one of three specific categories – boating, fishing and general outdoors – for additional information. Currently featuring news from more than 10 sources, the feed is designed to pull from any number of locations to give users a broad range of news.

TakeMeFishing.org is the ultimate boating and fishing resource for outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors to the site can find everything they need to plan a day on the water while searching for thousands of places to boat and fish in the United States. Boaters and anglers can also join Fishington the Fishing and Boating Capital of the Internet and follow TakeMeFishing.org on Facebook and @Take_Me_Fishing on Twitter.
