ALEXANDRIA, VA (April 4, 2011) – The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation’s (RBFF) Take Me Fishing™ campaign announces Seth Hosack of Apollo, Pa. as this year’s “Catch A Boat” grand prize winner. As the winner, Hosack will receive a brand new Stratos fishing boat and trailer provided by the North American Fishing Club (NAFC).

“This year’s Catch A Boat was a huge success, resulting in more than 25,723 players taking part in the online fishing tournament,” said RBFF President and CEO Frank Peterson. “And, with the weather finally breaking in many parts of the country, we hope that players like Mr. Hosack can take what they’ve learned – and won – and put their new skills and equipment to use out on the water.”

As an avid outdoorsman, Hosack was thrilled to be selected as the grand prize winner of this year’s Catch A Boat tournament. A police officer by trade, he enjoys spending time out on the water and considers boating and fishing to be a therapeutic change of pace. He looks forward to testing the local waterways all while making friends and family jealous of his new prize.

“As I was playing Catch A Boat I remember one of my friends saying I wasn’t going to win anything,” said Hosack. “So you can imagine how shocked and surprised I was to learn I had been chosen as the grand prize winner. I can’t wait to put some of the stresses of being a police officer on the back burner and enjoy some time on the water with my brand new boat!”

Catch A Boat, a unique, online fishing tournament featured on TakeMeFishing.org, was designed to get visitors excited about fishing and boating.
