RBFF Seeks New Program Partners at IBEX
Brands & Programs that Increase Boating Participation to be Showcased at Show

ALEXANDRIA, VA (October 11, 2011) – The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) today announced the organization will exhibit at this year’s International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), being held October 17 - 19, 2011 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky.

During show hours, RBFF staff will be available to discuss the organization’s brands and programs that help increase boating participation. These include RBFF’s recent collaboration with Discover Boating, the State Boat Registration Pilot Program, boating safety web traffic and boating referrals on TakeMeFishing.org, and a new customer profiling tool for retailers and marinas.

“Every year we give millions of people the information, encouragement, opportunity, materials and education they need to go boating and fishing,” said RBFF President and CEO Frank Peterson. “We’re working to keep boaters and anglers engaged in the sport and to cultivate the next generation of enthusiasts, which in turn boosts boat purchases, registrations and accessory sales.”

RBFF’s Take Me Fishing™ campaign reaches boaters and anglers of all ages and experience levels through advertising, social media marketing and public relations. The campaign generates more than 600 million consumer impressions annually and its website, TakeMeFishing.org, attracts more than four million visits each year.

RBFF representatives will be located at Booth #2363 during show hours to discuss program updates. On-site media contact: Jeff Sedor, (703) 863-1301.
