Take Me Fishing Recognized by International Academy of the Visual Arts

November 2009 – The Take Me Fishing campaign Web site has been recognized by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), receiving multiple awards in the 2009 W3 Awards and 2009 Davey Awards competitions – both judged by IAVA. TakeMeFishing.org, the premier online destination for boaters and anglers to learn, plan and equip for a day on the water, received the following honors:

The W³ Awards, which received nearly 3,000 entries, honors creative excellence on the Web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award-winning Web sites, Web video and online marketing programs. It is sanctioned and judged by IAVA, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising and marketing firms. The Davey Awards, which received more than 4,000 entries, honors the “Davids” of creativity – the smaller agencies, companies, or organizations with annual billings or revenues below certain levels. Since re-launching the site in April 2008 with a new design, improved navigation and enhanced usability, TakeMeFishing.org has received more than 4.4 million unique visitors. In 2009, the site also earned recognition from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the Webby Awards and the Web Marketing Association.
