In a preview of what the fishing and boating high season should bring, the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) invited a diverse group of influencers participating in the recent Disney Creators Celebration to experience the Take Me Fishing™ Guided Fishing Excursions at Walt Disney World® Resorts.

The content creators enjoyed 2-hour outings which launched from several Walt Disney® World Resort marinas, allowing them to experience fishing and boating first-hand and learn how to access TakeMeFishing.org for “how-to” and “where-to” information when they head home.

TikTok super stars Ash and Em of @WeWearCute shared their adventure with their 12.5 million followers. “This was reely fun!! We had a fantastic day fishing at Walt Disney® World’s Contemporary Resort!! Our fishing guide, Gary, taught us how to fish and took us to a great fishing spot where we caught 14 fish! If you haven’t fished at Disney World yet, you should give it a try!”

Four creators posted a total of nine times across three platforms, reaching over 260 thousand users and earning 413 thousand impressions. “It’s The Donnellys” shared their whole trip on YouTube, allowing their followers to experience what a day of fishing & boating can do to strengthen family bonds and create lifelong memories.

The Take Me Fishing™ guides are experts in teaching newcomers and kids how to fish and experience the magic. Creator and Hispanic mom Karla Polymath expressed her gratitude in an Instagram reel, sharing how her children learned so much about fishing: “Thank you, Don, for helping Gunnar catch the biggest fish I’ve ever seen.” Cullen & Alissa Griffin showcased how the thrill of the first catch isn’t diminished when practicing catch-and-release.
