'Take Me Fishing Center' Heads to Northwest Sportshow
RBFF Exhibit Features Local Pro Angler; Educates Visitors on Boating, Fishing & Conservation

ALEXANDRIA, VA (March 5, 2009) – The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) today announced that its Take Me Fishing Center will be featured at the Northwest Sportshow, being held March 12 - 15, 2009 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Designed to educate show attendees on boating, fishing and conservation, the Take Me Fishing Center will have something for all outdoor enthusiasts.

“Attendees will have the opportunity to explore TakeMeFishing.org using interactive kiosks and learn about all the great boating and fishing resources the site has to offer,” said RBFF President and CEO Frank Peterson. “Avid anglers will also be encouraged to take the Anglers’ Legacy Pledge and learn how they can help preserve the resource by sharing boating and fishing with a newcomer.”

Minnesota professional angler Libby Hoene will be on hand to collect Pledges for RBFF’s Anglers’ Legacy program and educate attendees about the resources available on TakeMeFishing.org. Each day, two individuals who take the Anglers’ Legacy Pledge on-site will be chosen to receive Voltaeus rod and reel combos, courtesy of Shimano.
