RBFF Promotes Anglers’ Legacy at AFFTA Fly Fishing Expo
First-ever fly fishing industry owned and directed consumer fly fishing show

ALEXANDRIA, VA (December 19, 2007) – The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) today announced they will exhibit at the American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA) Fly Fishing Expo being held January 4-6, 2008 in Denver, Colo. Promoting the organization’s Anglers’ Legacy program, RBFF President and CEO Frank Peterson will be on hand to discuss how consumers can get involved, help preserve the resource and how to become an Anglers’ Legacy Ambassador.

“Anglers’ Legacy has seen dramatic growth this year, hitting the 20,000 Ambassador milestone, and we’re excited to bring the program to AFFTA’s Fly Fishing Expo,” said Peterson. “It will be a chance for consumers to sign up and become Ambassadors. Each new Ambassador helps to promote respect for the resource by taking someone new fishing, and I look forward to the opportunity to share the Legacy with newcomers.”

AFFTA’s Fly Fishing Expo will feature separate casting ponds for beginners’ instruction, product testing and competitions. Top fly fishing gear manufacturers, premier fly shop owners, guides, and outfitters from across the state will be available to share the art of fly fishing.

If you’d like to set up a one-on-one meeting or interview with Peterson at AFFTA’s Fly Fishing Expo, e-mail RBFF Communications Manager Helena Basche or call her at (609) 226-7577.
