RBFF Rolls Out Direct Mail Marketing Toolkit to States at AFWA

ALEXANDRIA, VA (September 13, 2007) – Frank Peterson, president and CEO of the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) will roll out the organization’s states initiative at the Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies (AFWA) Annual Meeting being held Sept. 16-21, 2007 in Louisville, Ky.

“The states are critical to our mission and the AFWA Annual Meeting is a great place to share information about projects we’re working on that can help states on a local level,” said Peterson. “I’m eager to present the latest on our fishing license recruitment and retention program, which will help state agencies reverse the decline in fishing license sales.”

On Tuesday, Sept. 18 at an RBFF-hosted breakfast, Peterson will update state agencies on the national recruitment and retention program for all states, highlighting components of the how-to guide that’s being developed for agencies to help them increase fishing license sales among lapsed anglers. He will also present the latest information on the Take Me Fishing™/Discover Boating™ campaign collaboration.
