State Direct Mail Marketing Program & Education Grants to be Highlighted at AREA

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) today announced they will attend this year’s Aquatic Resources Education Association (AREA) Conference being held Oct. 17 – 21 in Corpus Christi, Texas. RBFF staff will be available to discuss the organization’s state and education initiatives.

“The AREA Conference is a great place to get the word out about our aquatic education programs that help increase participation in boating and fishing,” said RBFF President and CEO Frank Peterson. “We look forward to sharing successes from our direct mail program and education initiative and exploring new partnership opportunities.”

On Sat., Oct. 18 at an RBFF-hosted lunch, State Initiatives Director Stephanie Hussey and Education and Conservation Manager Arisa Teasley will present RBFF’s latest state and education initiatives. Hussey and Teasley will provide attendees with preliminary results from the State Direct Mail Marketing Program and information about RBFF’s seven new education grant recipients.

AREA is a national not-for-profit association dedicated to furthering aquatic education. The 2008 Conference, themed Spawning Ideas, Innovation and Action, brings together members who work in local, regional, state and national arenas, to build new partnerships and forge new ways to establish sound aquatic education programs.
