RBFF Highlights Boating Efforts at Marine Dealer Conference & Expo
Prospect Generation, Boating Research & Water Access Programs to be Discussed

ALEXANDRIA, VA (November 12, 2009) – The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) today announced the organization will exhibit for the first time at this year’s Marine Dealer Conference & Expo (MDCE) being held Nov. 16 – 18, 2009 in Orlando, Fla. RBFF staff will be available to discuss the organization’s efforts to increase participation in boating.

“We look forward to making new connections at MDCE and updating current partners about our programs that promote boating,” said RBFF President & CEO Frank Peterson. “We’re working diligently to generate new prospects, drive boat registrations, promote safe boating practices and provide TakeMeFishing.org users the tools they need to purchase and maintain a boat. We’ve also just released new research that helps us better understand the motivation and demographics for those interested in boat ownership.”

RBFF staff will provide information about the Take Me Fishing™ campaign and how it impacts the boating industry. They will also be available to discuss ongoing research to identify opportunities for boat ownership and renewal and an unprecedented database project to increase public awareness of water access.

For more information about RBFF’s programs and resources, visit RBFF.org or call (703) 519-0013. If you’d like to set up a meeting or interview at MDCE, stop by booth #828 or contact RBFF Boating and Fishing Outreach Manager Jeff Aitken at jaitken@rbff.org to coordinate.
