RBFF President to Present New Boating Research at Marine Dealer Conference & Expo
Report offers key insights into consumers’ attitudes about boating purchases

ALEXANDRIA, VA (November 11, 2010) – The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) today announced that President and CEO Frank Peterson will speak at the Marine Dealer Conference & Expo (MDCE) being held Nov. 14 – 17, 2010 in Orlando, Fla. Peterson will present new research to help the industry better understand consumer attitudes towards boat purchases.

“The boating lifestyle has not waned. People are going to continue to buy boats, but are certainly doing their research for the best value,” said Peterson. “We hope our boating stakeholders will use this research to help guide their sales and marketing strategies for the coming year.”

During the Expo, staff will be available to update attendees about RBFF’s Take Me Fishing™ campaign and how it impacts the boating industry by growing participation where boating and fishing come together.

For more information about RBFF’s programs and products, visit RBFF.org or call (703) 519-0013. If you’d like to set up a meeting or interview at MDCE, stop by booth #1035 or contact RBFF Boating and Fishing Outreach Manager Jeff Aitken at jaitken@rbff.org to coordinate.
