Fifty-three organizations are now hosting RBFF’s Fishing License & Boat Registration Website Plugin on their consumer-facing sites.

Early numbers suggest that the plugin has been used well over 1.2 million times since its launch, leading to more than 47,000 referrals to state fishing license and boat registration pages.

“Many Americans cite not having a license as a driving factor as to why they don’t go fishing,” said RBFF Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships, Rachel Auslander. “Having a tool that helps make the license-buying process less complicated could have a huge impact on fishing participation for years to come.”

On top of the free tool that’s simple to add to any consumer-facing website, RBFF has also produced social media assets to help brands promote the tool and a detailed infographic on how this tool helps the industry.
