RBFF is hosting a State Marketing Workshop in December 2012 for all 50 state agencies regarding the importance of marketing and communicating with customers and implementing integrated marketing efforts to increase fishing license sales and boat registrations. Participants will hear about the Fishing License and Boat Registration Marketing Programs and discuss the importance of implementing customer engagement strategies and providing positive license experiences and convenient resources for anglers and boaters. State agencies will take part in peer-to-peer discussions and share examples and ideas to help inform the future direction of marketing strategies for 2013.

Helping with travel, RBFF encourages all 50 states to send two representatives to include either their Fisheries Chief, Marketing Director, program lead for the Fishing License Marketing Program, and/or outreach or licensing staff. Ideally, following the Workshop, the two participants should meet with their agency team to share the Workshop information.
